Starting & Growing a Drupal-based Business: 6 Valuable Lessons I Have Learned
Project Mgmt, Sales and Consulting | BeginnerThis session will dive into the history of Mediacurrent. Sorry, Mediacurrent is not a VC-backed, Silicon-Valley based, recurring revenue product company that has a 3-year hyper-growth plan to do an IPO. Rather, about five years ago we were like many of you in the Drupal and open-source software community. We were two life-long friends setting out on a new business venture. We began our partnership in the back of a 100 sq foot office with limited capital and resources.
Today, Mediacurrent has one of the deepest Drupal portfolios in North America, and organically grown to 31 amazing team members across 7 states. We have learned a lot over the years about growing a Drupal-based business. This presentation will share six of these valuable lessons.
This session is intended for everyone, especially those that are already or considering running their own open-source software business. I hope sharing our experience will benefit others.
