Sultan Shakir
I'm originally from Colorado but have spent most of my life in Florida. Over the past 12 years plus, I have developed websites and applications for Florida Hospital, Florida State University and FAMU, several medical practices, real estate companies, social service organizations and many other types of businesses and organizations.
When I am not spending time with my family or the great outdoors, I am typically deep into coding in JavaScript and PHP or attending networking events.
I drank the Drupal Kool Aid when I was assigned to build a website for my team at work. The website's main function was to serve as a dynamic, searchable catalog for all of our production code. I even had to write my own custom module for that site. (Props to @kevishie for helping me get up to speed!) It was something else....my first Drupal website and I had to write a module from scratch - whew. Nonetheless, this exercise led to me falling in love with Drupal and wondering what I was doing ignoring it all those years and using J==mla. :)
I share what's on my mind from time to time via my blog here: http://www.sultanshakir.com/blog
